| Overview |
The
Southington United Soccer Club was started in the late 1980's to offer
O30 men an opportunity to play recreational soccer. As the the team
aged, we have moved to the O40 level. At about the same time we established an O30 Team for Women. Known as the Southington Women After Thirty(SWAT) for many years before disbanding in 1998, the team was revitalized in 2003. SWAT joined many other women's team in the Connecticut Adult Recreational Soccer League. Also in the late 80's we established an Open Women's team that offers the post high school and college player a place to place during the summer season. Only age requirement is that the player must have finished their high school eligibility. |
